1. Scope
This policy covers the X Product Assistant website and the Amazon, SHEIN, TEMU and Ozon Product Assistant extensions, provided by an individual developer. Privacy contact: chenlin.dev@gmail.com.
2. Information processed locally
The extensions read product titles, prices, links, images, ratings, sales and store details on supported pages to collect, filter, export and download information. Relevant page addresses, task states, preferences and download records are stored in your browser. Ozon also stores imported Excel/CSV files, a source-workbook copy, batch tasks and edited drafts locally.
Permissions support target tabs, reading product content, the side panel, storage and downloads. Ozon additionally uses image-domain access, background scheduling and larger local storage. Restrict permissions or disable the extension in Chrome. Do not import passwords, orders or unrelated personal information.
3. Networks and third parties
The current versions do not automatically upload product results or workbooks to developer servers. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising, personal profiling or AI training. Extension user data is used only for disclosed features, in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements.
Page visits, pagination and image downloads still connect to marketplaces and resource servers and may use your existing login session. Source services may process IP addresses and request details under their rules. The website has no advertising or analytics trackers, but its host, Vercel, may process necessary access and security logs; see the Vercel Privacy Notice. Email and external links are subject to the relevant providers’ practices. These services may process information outside your country.
4. Retention and deletion
Session data may be cleared when the browser closes. Local preferences, records and Ozon workbooks and drafts can persist, with no universal automatic expiry. Clear controls remove the relevant data, not necessarily every draft or preference. Uninstalling removes extension storage; delete downloaded files, exports and backups separately.
Email addresses, messages and attachments you send are used only to respond, provide support and address necessary legal matters, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. Hosting logs follow the actual service configuration.
5. Your choices
You can stop tasks, change settings, restrict site access, clear data or uninstall. The developer generally cannot remotely retrieve or delete results and workbooks on your device. Contact chenlin.dev@gmail.com to exercise applicable rights of access, correction, deletion or other statutory rights for information we actually hold. Requests are handled under applicable law.
6. Security and updates
Local storage is not a separately encrypted vault provided by this product. Protect your device and share files carefully. The products are not directed at children; do not submit children’s or other sensitive information. Before adding cloud processing or materially different uses, we will update this policy and provide notice and obtain consent where required.
